A Business-Incubating Park

Our Culture and Science Park offers services to young businesses to help them grow. We take pride in being innovative and providing access to our facilities and business services with a high standard of quality and professionalism. Those who wish to qualify as an enterprise in our park needs to be a company:

• That was established no more than three years ago with its focus chiefly on culture, innovation, and the hi-tech sector;
• With a sufficient number of professionals, technology projects, and registered and operating capital, including at least 500,000 yuan in cash assets;
• Led by an entrepreneur utilizing advanced technologies in the domestic and/or overseas market(s);
• With an incubated project holding property rights (including intellectual property rights), as well as good, clearly-defined market prospects;
• That is operating in an area in line with the Beijing Municipal Government’s priority development plan.

Venture Park

We are also a base for both international technology-based business and dynamic start-ups established by those who return with degrees from top universities abroad. A company that wishes to qualify as an enterprise in our venture park needs to be a company:

• Started by those who were sent abroad to do advanced study on public or private expenses; by visiting scholars who have been abroad for over one year and have come back after 1990 with some academic achievement; by those who have obtained a “green card” and status to reenter the countries where they had studied;
• That has at least 500,000 yuan in cash assets, with capital contributed by one or more overseas Chinese taking up over 50% of the registered capital, among which at least 250,000 yuan needs to be in cash;
• Led by an overseas Chinese who is also an entrepreneur utilizing advanced technologies in the domestic and/or overseas market(s);
• With a focus on culture, innovation, and the hi-tech sector;
• With an incubated project holding property rights (including intellectual property rights), as well as good, clearly-defined market prospects;
• In which the applicant needs to work in the Park for at least 60 working days every year.

Before they become a full member of the venture park for overseas Chinese, those who wish to apply need to:

1. Fill out the necessary forms
2. Submit related documents
3. Be approved
4. Sign related agreements

Business Support Services

Our portfolio of business support services is designed to assist culture and creative industries-based business start-ups and small- and medium-sized businesses to maximize their potential for growth. Our services cover access to capital, culture and innovations, company growth and communications, support for solving technical and business process problems using students, and mediated networking with the government and other companies to create new business opportunities.

1. Premises Services

We provide premises services, including training and conference room renting (for more information, call 8610-62517777 or 8610-6251-5218) and centralized management fee collection. We have a business center, gymnasiums and staff restaurants.?

2. Agent Services

We provide agent services, including human resources consulting and recruiting services with the help of the employment centers of the Renmin University of China. We also provide human resources agent services, including document registration, finding talented professionals,, business registration services, legal services, as well as financial consulting services, including auditing, asset evaluation and contract drafting (for more information on human resources consulting, call 8610-8250-9532. 3. Access to Financial Capital

We help you secure capital from venture capital funds, banks, the government and other sources that you need to develop your business. With our help and guidance, you may apply for and secure:

• Z-Park venture funds for those who have returned with degrees from top universities abroad;
• Ministry of Science and Technology funds for SMEs and their innovations;
• Preferential finance and tax treatment at various levels of government;
• Access to the resources of the open labs in Z-Park and related subsidies.

We have a financing program tailored to the needs of companies in the culture and creative industries, including:

• Providing access to the “Green Channel” for qualified companies to secure bank loans and government subsidies based on their creditability and intellectual property holdings;
• Venture capital, such as gaining access to finance by collaborating with entrepreneurs and venture capitalists;
• Project promotion that raises the general awareness of such projects among financial institutions;
• Providing comprehensive professional services, including investment banking, financial and listing counseling, with the help of its links to the Renmin University’s academic and research capabilities;
• Direct investment in the form of a seed fund that supports those companies in the Park with good prospects, with a focus on the culture and creative industries.

Development Tools

1. Platform

We have access to the experts and academic and research capabilities of the Renmin University of China that can identify the key issues in company development and provide analysis and assistance to the companies in the Culture and Science Park.

We have a series of programs to push companies to innovate, such as competitions. We can also help them find students who to carry out these projects. We also provide management training, and forums for companies to stay up-to-date regarding their industry’s developments.

We help companies get involved in research projects and culture and creative industries programs headed by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to improve the status of such companies and help them get ahead.?

We help companies build their own brands by cooperating with Z-Park and providing forums for them to facilitate their communications with others in the culture and creative industries.

4. Talent Training and Copyright Services

Our cooperation with the Z-Park management committee allows us to provide a variety of advanced training programs. In our training programs built with the committee, we are training talented individuals whose skills the market and our Culture and Science Park urgently need.
